INTERSTITIAL 2E KICKSTARTER HERE
There are two possible pitches to get you interested in Interstitial 2E:
- Interstitial is a game that encourages you to take characters from media you enjoy and play as them. To relive multi-fandom rp days, and to be your most indulgent self.
- Interstitial is a game about the connections between people, the way relationships change, and effecting the world around you through the power of friendship.
Interstitial 1E was the first game I ever designed on a large scale, and it was pretty good! But it lacked some things- Proper DM rules, clarification on how some of the moves worked, and all together had alot of stuff that went underutilized. So, for the past two years I have been cooking on Interstitial 2E, trying to fix the things that I think never worked, break the things that need breaking, and to give everything just a bit of a buff.
Second Edition strives to-
- Streamline the Make a Link mechanic instead of screeching to a halt for everyone to roll Links.
- Add Bonded Links, Rewrite Basic Moves, and add more help for combat.
- Completely rewrite every Playbook to make them more distinct and to make moves more fun.
- Change Link Moves to a passive Link Generating tool
- Change how stats work so you are ALWAYS rolling with the Links you have.
- Develop proper GM tools for those who want it, with explanations on my thought process while GMing and best practices.
- Remove filler that didn't add anything to the game (the setting, the tag system, etc)
- Fun new layout and new art!
2E is a much stronger game than 1E in my opinion. The changes allow characters to immediately feel unique, and allows gameplay to flow much easier.

Hm. I haven't bought 1e, so I can't provide the best feedback to start, but from what I've seen I feel like the setting tag system could be really helpful to DMs trying to come up with new worlds, especially if they're sticking to the "don't stay in one world too long" platitude.. but I'm still excited!
